The Longboat Key Club has one of the most active golf communities in the region, with thriving men's and women's golf associations that provide members with weekly opportunities for competition, camaraderie, and fun.
Men's Golf Association (MGA)
The Men's Golf Association (MGA) has more than 450 active members and plays every Wednesday throughout the year. Weekly events include both individual and team competitions for golfers of all skill levels. Handicap indexes range from approximately 2 to over 20, with the majority of participants falling between 8 and 20.
Women's Golf Association (WGA)
The Women's Golf Association (WGA) has more than 230 active members who play 18-hole events every Tuesday throughout the year. The association welcomes golfers with a wide range of abilities, with handicap indexes ranging from under 4 to over 30, and most members playing in the 14–22 range.
Key Niners
The Key Niners, our 9-hole women's association, has more than 200 active members and plays every Thursday throughout the year. Members enjoy a variety of individual and team formats in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Handicap indexes range from 18 to over 40, with most members falling between 25 and 40.
Together, these associations represent nearly 800 Full and Golf Members who participate in organized golf at Longboat Key Club. During the season, more than 20 active golf groups enjoy regular play, creating an energetic and vibrant golf community for members of all abilities.
